I agree with your sentiments. Use of language should always be such that

doors on compromise and cooperation as well as for competition are not
shut.

I also agree with your concern about the need for civil defense
awareness
and preparedness.

 this poisonous insect of a nation

The above is not a civil way for an Indian to describe Pakistan, even
though
we may be enemies in war shortly.   It places us at the same level of
those
in Pakistan who use similar terms to describe us.    There is good and
evil
in Pakistan as there is everywhere else.  The problem at the moment is
that
the evil seem to have the upper hand.
