Questions for Dr. Roy....
Ok Dr. Roy, it may be that "critiquing India today when the world has
changed in the direction of freedom is rather glib and trivial". What
should be the general direction for India? Why are the reforms moving
slowly? Can India afford the rising gap between Technology haves and
have nots?
The point is that while the world has embraced the principles of
Freedom, India hasn't progressed very much. It seems that we
introducing policies and refining them endlessly - for example, the
Telecom Policy. It is as if we lack adequate Mental Models to forge
sound national policies. Our policy framework is riddled with trials
and errors. Why is it that we can't get it right on many pressing
issues the first time???
Sincerely,
Vamsi M.
