IPI is a civil society effort, operating almost entirely in the internet space, that is run entirely (and paid for) by volunteers.
No donations needed: While contributions to IPI are income-tax exempt, IPI does not need much money to operate and does not need any donations at this stage. Instead, IPI needs a constant inflow of good (and active) volunteers to carry out various activities and spread the message of freedom.
Invitation:
IPI is currently re-inventing itself entirely by transforming its governance mechanisms so it can play a more useful role in India's future. We need volunteers to:
(a) lead (as a member of the IPI Board) the following areas:
- management of IPI's website
- IPI's publications area to make it more useful
- establishment and management of IPI blogs
- coordination of the development of Adharshila
- pilot and embed Adharshilia on the ground
- design and marketing of India Policy Update;
(b) edit (as Editor) India Policy Update; and/or
(c) write articles for India Policy Update and flyers and booklets for Adharshila.
Please write to me (info AT indiapolicy.org) if you are interested. Do not contact me if you want a role without putting in a significant amount of voluntary work. I look forward to your interest.
