well said, mr kukreti !

i didn't think of it from a purely economic point of view earlier.
Analysing it in this way, it opens up the mind.
consider - why do people take university education -to get a good job,
comensurate wiht their aptitude. Now if those jobs are not present in
india, then why in the good name of god have we got those unversity seats
in the first place

I am in IIT and often wonder why is there an aerospace or naval
architecture department in the IITs. There is hardly an aerospace or
navarch industry in India! these courses seem to be tailor made for sending
students abroad ! Earlier the eduaction in IIT used to be high-class and
the actual working environment in india was in the dumps. that lead to
brain drain. the people who expected that these students will change the
things in indutry realised late that newcomers don't have clout. you have
to change the working envirnonment and that won't be done by all th
motivation of socialism. competition and competition alone changes the
working environment.

Subsidy might seem to be good. Education subsidy might even seem to be
needed, but the logic of economics dictates that no subsidy is justified.

prakash

.

We know it is based on the most corrupt type of deceit. Hoodwinking the
public, telling them that these policies are for the public interest, when
hardworking people are simply chased out of the country.

As I've told you people, you can't PUSH people into the economy by giving
them qualifications for jobs that aren't there. You must PULL people into
the economy, by promoting economic activity which then generates the job
opportunities which spur people to pursue the qualifications that will help
them land those jobs.

Economic activity creates demand for job roles, and the higher the level of
economic activity, the higher the level of job role types.

But as I've said -- it's the value system which determines the way you
tackle economic issues. Leftist values can never produce the economic
activity, and can only curtail people's freedoms. These Leftists would tie
chains around every smart and talented person in the country and declare
them state property, to keep them from pursuing a livelihood elsewhere. even
though the Leftists have denied them the chance to pursue that livelihood in
India.

A complete case of greed overcoming common sense. This is why so many
Indians leave India -- because the Leftists have exerted every effort to
make it an unpleasant place. And they don't see their folly at all, when
they do these things. The Leftists are the malcontented incompetents who
cannot function in an environment where your work ethic and talents are the
basis for your standard of living. Leftists prefer to promote the fantasy
that they are the only wonderful people, and that if everyone would just
bend to their way -- crazy and destructive as it is -- then everyone will
somehow prosper. But no matter how much perfume they put on this manure, it
can never clean it up.
