POINT OF INFORMATION there is the voluntary action network of India which 
would give you lots of information about who is doing good work at community 
level. They also know what the impediments are from both illegal elements and 
government. There are issues of the right to free assembly and the right to 
carry on a profession which are involved. VANI has a project about FCRA 
reform and there are others monitoring the treatment of human rights
