Is it Mr. Kurien's opinion that booth-capturing determines Indian
electoral
results? If so, it would be a novel hypothesis. Even here in
Bengal,
where the Left is strongly suspected of -- or at least routinely charged

with -- rigging results often enough, such a hypothesis is not normally
put
forward.

Is it also Mr. Kurien's view that most members of the Lok Sabha and
Rajya
Sabha are goondas of some sort or another? If so, that is something
that
India's Press seem not to have discovered yet.

Keshavananda Bharati is normally considered a landmark ruling of
constitutional law, not merely in India.

Subroto Roy.
