Thanks for your reply.    As a Mumbai resident, you may be interested in

the enclosed study coming out of MIT by a Dr Ramana about the effects of

a 15 kt nuclear bomb on Mumbai.  =20

The Pakistanis are making all sorts of irresponsible statements about =
first use of nuclear weapons, and I believe all Indian citizens in the =

metros at least should prepare themselves for civil defence in case of =

nuclear attack on civillian targets.
Not much marginal misery would be averted but it would make ordinary =
citizens feel less helpless perhaps in the event of an attack.
