As far as I know, Ayn Rand is alone by far in fictionalizing the debate
between communism & free markets. And you are right (as usual) that the
is hard to get across -- paradoxically, the intellectuals are the
hardest to
reach! I think this is because they have a hard time appreciating how
knowledge is essentially local, distributed,  incomplete and  imperfect.
Just intellectual hubris, I guess.
